Beach access

The beach and the park are separate areas. You do not need to walk through the park to reach the beach.

If you're heading to the water, drive to the lower parking lot. The shoreline is about 150 metres away. There is a short drop of about three metres at the edge of the parking lot, followed by a mostly flat route to the beach.

The picnic table and fire pit are about 81 metres from the lower lot.

The final stretch to the shoreline crosses sand and cobble. While the route is mostly flat, the loose stone and uneven surface are not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.

The park

The park is one connected trail system on the headland above the west shore, with about 500 metres of trails in total.

The terrain is gently rolling, with short steeper sections. Most of the elevation changes are small, but some areas have sharp pitches.

The trails are mostly gravel, packed dirt and exposed roots. Nothing is paved, and conditions can be uneven or muddy after rain.

The upper and lower parking lots are connected by a 216-metre route with some steeper sections. Most visitors will find it easier to drive between them.
